Stainless Steel Protein Skimmer

Went to East Ocean during lunch time. Saw protein skimmer in of the display tank. It is a small cylinderical shape made of stainless steel with a mini pump in it.

Anyone using it? Any feedback on this product.

it's an exact copy of the ADA vuppa.
i think it is not necessary unless you are using lily pipes and want to keep the clean and sleek look.

i dont really like the idea of paying $160 and needing to use another power socket for it.

can diy one yourself instead of paying $160 for it.
