My Opae Ula Tank (Hawaiian Shrimp Tank)

Hi guys

Just want to share 2 of my Opae Ula Tank on my study desk

One is a 20x20x 30 and the other one is a 1 feet cube tank

There are 88 shrimps in the cube tank and 30 plus in the smaller tank .. Huat ah !! Happy New Year guys

















By the way, pictures here were taken immediately after I added the shrimps hence their colour is not so bright ... They are actually very very red ... Most of them =)

I didnt buy the setup from the tampines shop .. i just bought the white coral from them since theirs is the nicest .. the rest is ownself source out ... But i did got inspirational from them ... For the second tank, is purely for breeding purpose .. just that i try to make it nicer .. haha .. Didnt copy any design ..

Ya it is dead .... use it to rise my ph and gh ... and used as decoration too .. just like how people use crush coral to rise ph ..

20 year if I not wrong....But any thing more then 10 is consider amazing for a shrimp.

Did u get it from crs haven? These shrimps are pricey right? And your water is brackish water right?

Water is brackish. Salinty of 1.005. Remembered buying from a contact using 1 green note and 1 purple note per shrimp.
