    hi,

    just got 20 bumble bee shrimps yesterday and this morning saw about 8 dead.

    can someone tell me how to pre condition them before intorducing into the tank.

    The yamoto and cherry do nothave any problems at all... only the bumble bees shrimps....

    Sad to hear that...they are so cute!!

    Anyway, heard from others that bumble bees are not as hardy as cherries and Yamatos.
    Did you add them in directly?
    Did you add water from your tank into the plastic bag bit by bit, for at least 2 hrs?

    bumble bees are really really sensitive ...

    last time i just bring back and put in tank ... all dead

    next time, i added water from tank into bag slowly for over an hour ... after that put them in ... all dead

    3rd try, i thot maybe ph problem ... measured bag ph at 7.5 and tank ph at 6.6 ... quite a big diff ... so added tank water to holding tank for over 3 days ... all dead

    so no more bee shrimps for me liao
