Aquazonic T5 Light Set spoilt?

i dismantle it the light set twice, the ballast is located at the side, covered by the reflector.
You have to remove the side cap,acrylic plastic cover and the reflector.
The circuit board is at the length side of the fixture.You will see a black rectangular tube,that is where
the electronic circuit board is.

i just tore them up yesterday to see if there was any connection problems.
Apparently there is not connection problems, and suspect is something wrong with the circuit board.
will picture the process down when i tear them apart again.

I haven't looked inside these aquazonic lightsets, what's on the circuit board? You make it seem like the ballast and the PCB are separate.

The ballast and pcb seem to be together enclosed inside the black tube. I do not see any other components besides wires, connectors, end caps and the tubes.

I opened mine no black tube (heatshrink tube). Only the PCB, transistors, capacitors. Oh yah there were 2 in my T5 that i took apart.

sadly my aquazonic 4x t5 lightset previous have 2 tubes suddenly not working properly after 3 months. sometimes can on some times cant, need on an off a few times in order to get it right.
went down to c328 to ask for a repair, cost me 15$ to get some chip replaced. i was given back 2 chip and my working lightset back after that. thinking everything would be fine, i now have another bulb with the same problem, i seriously do not know where does the problem lies. that lightset aint cheap for me ): paid around 7x$ brand new i think.

I have a 3 foot aquazonic 4 * t5 set. After 12 months one of the bulbs failed to start. I changed the sockets but it is still unreliable. I have to tap the light set a few minutes after it was switched on to get the 4th bulb to light up. I'm not in favor of throwing things out, but this kit is really stretching my patience. I'm wondering if it will be better to install a new ballast or switch to led...

skeptical with T5 lights.I dont think is limit to Aquazonic..Second set i bought, one of the two T5 tubes did not turn on when my timer activates.. the same problem with my previous set..

Looks like a common problem with the ballast. I have two T5 aquazonic lights, 30 cm and 40 cm. Both have same problem with one bulb not operating. fedup with them and just switched to UP Z series led today.

Hi all bros, my 3ft aquazonic lightset having same issues too. One of the bulbs don't work when timer is on, have to manually switch on/off afew times to work.
Very annoying problem, lightset less than a year usage.

Same here. I thought it was my bad luck. So I bought another 2 sets..and both also had 1 tube spoilt and after the warranty even.. Sigh..

Anyway, does anyone have this problem with T8? ?

Every time I see someone buying a Aquazonic lights in the LFS and looked happy, I would shake my head. Really ban their lights for me.
