It looks nicer with the moss as the foreground. By the way what's the name of the yellowish plant? Thanks.

I do put some Flora tablet fert. or trace element can't remember. (not special fert) around the Downoi when i planted them and bingo, they just keep on propagating.

Downoi do not require C02 to survive. But having C02 will be good for them to thrive and propagate. These rules apply to most plants i think. Happy planting.

Impressive! Always wonder what is like to have a downoi lawn, keep us update once it further filling up the gaps, will be nice.
What is the moss previously you had? I find that with the moss or perhaps some mid-foreground plants covering the bottom of the crypts looks better.
    Have you relocated the fishes?
    Nice, keep us updated,

Thks. Now i 'm just waiting the "little star" to fill up the gap. Selling only some extra one.
The problem with too much moss is they are nutrients absorber and having too many of them in the tank causes stunned growth of my Bolbitis and US Fissiden.
After removing the moss lawn, My Bolbitis and US Fissiden have thrived and propagate very nicely.
You may observed that i have taken the below half of the tank, the upper part of the tank, i am trying out to cultivate more US Fissiden and another type of Fissiden from a Indonesia friend.....

Happy planting. Be well and prosper.

Agree...and from my experience they are more counting on lighting than co2 or temperature.

    downoi

Downoi in my tank grows very fast every month i have to cut it back shoots can grow up to three inches maybe more thats the longest i ever let it go anywhere. Then i trim it at 1/2" off the substrate and when it grows back it's fenominal.
