Think the foreground will be a glosso lawn? Or Marsilea sp? Can't really see the plants properly...
Wouldn't the Red Lotus grow big?

IMO, using blyxa as the foreground plant will make the tank unique too. Since Cbong already raise the soil in the background of the tank. For a 2ft cube tank i think the size of blyxa as the foreground is not too big.

In 1 month time, you red tiger lotus is going to block the view.. I think it's not suitable to be placed there..

    Neat!

I think there ae some red Hygrophilas that creeps. Maybe can try that as part of the foreground instead of red lily.

BTW - the fish are the dwarf and stunted X-ray Tetras. They are not like that naturally.

Thanks for all the feedback, much appreciated.
Yes the foreground is glosso. As for the lotus, as I was rescaping my 4 feet tank, I dug out so many baby lotus that I had no place to plant them. So, I'll just let it develop and see how it goes in this smaller tank.

Perpahs just keeping 1 stalk of the red-tiger lotus will give the tank a nice accent. In my previous set-up, I managed to keep my lotus low by trimming leaves that start growing upwards, over a period of time they will be "trained" to keep low.

Exactly what I am trying to do. Managed to get some results in my earlier attempts ... i.e. shorter lotus leaves.
