PnS cams are highly underrated. Maybe because people don't put in the effort to play around with the exposure settings they allow, beyond the P and other preset modes. Just take a look at this guy's insect shots using just a Nikon E8700.

in fact PnS are excellent for taking macro because of their deeper depth of field. the only short coming is their image quality compared with DSLR, but you can hardly see those if you are printing smaller than A5.

Got 5 days to go, doctor says got good chance it will clear by then.
