How big is your tank?
Hi, I like the combination of the fish and scape very much
I don't have much to suggest as I am still new to Aquascaping.
But the fish really nice![]()
Nice series, but I feel that the foreground are a tad too "tall".
Nice layout!! The overall layout is great. It will be better if the glosso will to crept. What is on the driftwood? I believe it should be some moss but from the look of the picture, it does look like algae at first glance.
Lastly, the background plants look a bit 'thin', will definitely be nicer when the tank matures.![]()
My Apisto Keeping Diary
Apistogramma agassizii, Apistogramma bitaeniata "Careiro", Apistogramma brevis, Apistogramma elizabethae, Apistogramma eremnopyge, Apistogramma sp. "Miua", Dicrossus filamentosus
nice, how big is the tank? and how many Harlequin in there? any other fishes or shrimps?
The tank is 2.5ft x 1.5ft(H) x 1ft.
Yesterday I bought 25 harlequin from Seaview (for CNY) plus 5 existing ones. I am glad they are adapting fast within 2 hours. Was very happy with them and took a few shots. No shrimps as co2 and trace is too high. One SAE doing general cleaning task but intend to get it out soon.
Need to trim the glosso abit and wait for the rotala to grow thicker.
By the way, didn't do any photoshop as I can't afford to buy one. Anyone willing to lend me oneUp the RBG/tone curve slightly.

you can use GIMP, freeware.
can download from http://www.gimp.org/
Thanks Robert. I had tried gimp but it will be a gimp file after I save it. I will try again and see how.

Looks like you got the hang of aquascape photography already! Just a few small pointers and I'm sure it will look even better!
Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
by the way, how many flash did you use to take the photo?
like the bright scaping.
should be more impressive when the rotala grow thicker.![]()

hmm... not processed by photoshop? The color is a bit rich and 'unreal'. It could be your camera setting or I may be wrong.
Sorry, I think it is a bit out of topic as this is aquascaping discussion section...![]()
not bad, ripple effect some more. 2 thumps up![]()
Hi Maurice,
first two pics looks like made in ADAAnyway tank is healthy and nice looking and for me it would work as two separate tanks. Right part as cube tank, left side as another.. Schooling rasboras are really nice complement. Well done!
