Keeping cardinal tetra with discus

Hi,
I am planning to add cardinals to my discus tank(3 feet). So I was wondering what how many would be suitable?

I have 4 discus in my tank. They are around 3.5 inches. Planning to add 2 more. And Toshika, are you sure?

I also keep discus with tetras, and many other fishes like, platies, mollies, cories, rasboras, so far no problem at all

Prof, the discus you have are still young. They will grow. Adults require about 8 gallons of water, so my advice is either add 2 more 3"+ discus or 15 cardinal, not both. Keep the bioload low.

I kept one discus with all my other tetras, no problems so far. Though I felt that this discus is a little lonely...

I have the followings;

1. Cardinal x 25
2. Discus x 4 (WILD)
3. Altum Angel x 14 (WILD)

in 4x1.5x1.5 tank. 3 x Canister and 1 x OHF. So far so good. No issue.

i used to have 4 discus, 2 balloon ram, 10 cardinal tetra, 3 SAE, 1 bristlenose pleco, 5 oto in my ex 3x1.5x1.5..

I used to keep discus with tetras too. No problem at all. But maybe difficult to keep the discus well fed.

I've 6 discus, 3 Rainbow, 30 cardinal tetra, 30 rummy nose, 3 sae, 60 endler (now left . I don't which fish ate the endler. It is either the discus or the rainbow.
