    Hi Delwin,

Thanks for sharing your gujing with us, your gujing look very healthy.Currently i have 4 types of gujing in my tank, but I'm not too sure some of my gujing belongs to which country. One of the gujing i brought back from Taiwan, the diameter was only 3cm.. but now it had glow up about 9-10cm in diameter.

    Regards,

    Gujings are my favourites!

LFS uncle told me Gujings will not survive in my non-CO2 tank but I bought one for $5 anyway to try as I love the way it looks so much.

3 weeks on, it was doing really well so I went back to the LFS for another 5 more. I did not watch the uncle carefully and he gave me 3 gujings of the same type as the one I have initially, and 2 gujings with buds coming out from the middle pretty much like the picture posted in the first post of this thread, just lower and rounder.

Nonetheless, all of them are living happily in my tank now.

I think the ones I have are the thai ones...

They have really soft and silky roots which have to be carefully planted (be careful not to let them float), a few leaves die and drop off, but after that, they stay picture-perfect all the time after. I think mine survived and are doing well because of my chiller and T5 lighting.

    Good luck!

I think you need to dose Fe(Iron) in order to let them grow well.

    Hi all,
This is my first posting in this forum.

Was searching for china gujing info and found this post. I just setup my 2ft plant tank about 2mth ago. Below is the tank and closeup on the gujing.

    Initial setup:
    02_tank update_Oct08_2.jpg

    now:
    03_tank update_Nov08_2.JPG

    my questions:
    china gujing:
are these flowers of the plant? will it bloom ?
    gujing_2.JPG

is this gujing ? LFS boss said it's a 'fake' gujing, it has no root...
    gujing_3.JPG
    what is the 'stem' thing?
    gujing_4.JPG

latest addition, 'vomit blood' gujing, hope it will make it
sorry, only realized 5 attachment allowed, will post picture next time...

    cheers,
    chong
