I'm trying to setup a White Cloud habitat/biotope tank, that I want to be as correct as possible.

    other fish:
Zhou Hang (MrTree) wrote that Rhinogobius duospilus and Macropodus honkongensis are found in the same habitat.
Are there any other (aquarium available) fish species found in the same habitat.
Puntius semifasciolatus? (never seen the wild form available, only the schuberti)

    shrimp:
Some of the habitat pictures show shrimp, which shrimp do occur in the Tanichtys albonubes habitat?
    Bumble Bee, Caridina breviata
    Bee shrimp, Caridina serrata
Red Cherry Shrimp, Neocaridina denticulata sinensis
    Amano shrimp, Caridina multidentata
    spring to mind..

    plants:
Which plants can I use?, MrTree wrote Rotala sp. and Byxa sp.
    Rotala rotundifolia? other species?
    Blyxa japonica, Blyxa aubertii
    mosses?
    vals?
    Myriophillum sp.?
    any others?
Someone told me Javavern (Microsorium pteropus) but that seems highly unlikely to me.

Well, still in the dark now, any information is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Asgard,

Puntius semifasciolatus has been spotted in the Netherlands.

Thanks for the info, the author "Tuinfluiter" = J. Klungers is well known for his breeding results with sub-tropical fish. He has been searching a long time for the Puntius semifasciolatus and has finaly managed to buy some. I know the shop he bought them from, I 've been there a few times, they have sometimes some-hard-to-get fish imported.
Too bad my current tanks 60*30 and 40*20 are much to small for them, so I have to pass for now. I hope that "Tuinfluiter" will have success breeding them, so that they also will be available in future times, and hopefully I'll have a bigger tank by then.
