i waiting for Transformer - Revenge of the Fallen.
Been going to the movies quite frequently of late, and id say the better ones this year would be
1) Angels and Demons
2) X-men Wolverine.
Other shows like Monsters VS Aliens ( i swear, if you are really still a 4 yr old at heart, its a waste of money. )
The uninvited - supposed to be a horror/ghost movie? but doesnt really make sense at the later parts when its all just the girl's hallucintations
And Terminator Salvation's a serious letdown i feel. Their startup is slow, only a few action scenes. Think Terminator 3 - Rise Of The Machines is much better.
For those who went to the movies recently, which do you guys think are the better ones this year?

It is a very enjoyable movie! Neeson is convincingly good like he did in Kingdom of Heaven. Don't think many fathers would have stayed so calm talking to the man who has "taken" his daughter.

Taken's really that good? haa..damn, gotta wait till the VCDs hit the stores to watch it now.
Taken is pretty good.. action packed.
Was recommended by friends too.

watching Taken now, great movie thanks for the topoff. I just love this kind of cold blooded violence type.

Anyone watched BLOOD yet? Is it good?
I quite enjoyed Startrek. I found the movie tastefully done, particularly how they wove the old Spock (link to the past) into the new movie. There will certainly be a sequel. It wasn't as over-the-top as the previous movies. That 2nd last Startrek movie was beyond pathetic. I never bothered with the last one.
Watched "Blindness" last week. Bluddy boring... and where it wasn't boring it was painful and frustrating. It is an interesting interlude into the nastiness of humanity and does raise some important issues worth thinking about.
Wolverine was pretty good too, but I think if it slowed down anywhere in the movie one may of found it a bit thin.
Best movie I have seen in a long while must be Bolt. I loved the animation, character development and cleverness of the story line. I LOVE cartoons.
that recent Tom Cruise movie on Ops Valkyrie, the attempt to assassinate Hitler, was pretty fine.

Taking of Pelham 123 was better than i expected. Both John Travolta and Denzel Washinton are really true veteran actors and this show proves it.
Land of the lost's quite a good show to catch, haha love the ape-man especially.
Transformers - Revenge of the taken was great!! Stunning graphic effects they have.
Ice age 3 is another great movie to watch!
Ya Transformer is a must watch. Though it consider a long show (2hrs 30mins), how I wished it was even longer.
mmm those who watched Transformer, there's this Construction Decepticons that combine into a bigger robot. Any idea if this range of toys is available?

I don't really enjoy transformers 2, action is way too fast for me, transformation as well... all I saw was a glimsp of the blurred transforming stages flashing across my eyes :P
Valkyrie was enjoyable.
