Nanas, mini nanas, and moss - If wither - Is it better to cut them away, or let them decompose in the tank?

If possible, trim and throw away. It is an eye sore and they polute the water.

But how would you trim away dead (brown) moss, if they are tangled with the new ones?

For nana, it is easy, just trip it and it will float up, jus coltect it with a net after that. Triming wull also promote new growth.

For moss, I normall give it a good overall trim, or I should call cut. Just cut all the brown one with the green one together, cut it short. Soon it will grow back more evenly and greener.
