Moss are not rooted plant so you require DW or mesh for
Them to cling on and grow. Fissidens are moss so requirement are low. But as i stress on for all moss to grow lush an green use chill water.

Actually gravidas is more of a multi vitamin conditioner for shrimps. Just to set in and prepare for shrimps to board, I add them. Gravidas won't affect parameters if i'm not wrong. It contains little amount of chitin that helps shrimps to breed too.
I usually add gravidas and BT-9 for water changes.

It's just my practice. For more info in mosura products you can go www.gcshop-sg.com to find out.

Haha, try going to C328 and you will know what is small and narrow. Nevertheless, C328 does have a huge varieties of stuff. Most important is that you must know what you want.

I will not recommend it as a place for window shopping.

Hi bros , just to confirm , if i dont use any of the dechlorine like seachem , shizhen etc.....

Can the chlorine in the water be remove by keeping just water overnight? Cause there are still lots of people who use this old school method rather than adding these dechlorine stuff.

Don't think chlorine can be remove by keeping it over night.
Only way to remove without using anti chlorine solutions is to use RO filter?

Re: Need advice on my 2nd 2ft tank setup

Hi zen, chlorine will evaporate from the water

    1) btw how do you use that ? You add in anti chlorine solution the straight away the water can be use?
    2) another thing i forgotten to ask you zenith, previously when you cycle your new tank , do you still add in other form of ammonia ? Or you just rely in the soil to produce ammonia?

    Thanks

Not necessary bro , what those old uncles use to keep fishes like arrowana , they told me just leave a pail of water overnight abd the next day you can use it to WC or top up . So i wonder if you bro doing the same as them.

HeMan.. PUB have changed their method of water purifying.. They started adding chloramine instead of chlorine. Chloramine cannot be aerated. You have to use an anti-chloramine.

Hi bro, the ammonia level has nothing to do with anti chlorine or chlorined water. Try adding powdered or liquid BB like mosura BT-9 or microbelift niteout II or crs haven bacter max. All these products help in cycling process and removal of ammonia and nitrate.

Previous question you asked about the anti-chlorine added can the water be used is yes. I personnally add seachem prime or seachem safe in the tap water. Mixed well, once settled then i slowly pour it in the tank. I kinda play safe after water all goes in, i use a small plastic tub scoop some water then add mosura shizen and mixed till dissolved and added it in the tank too, after that followed by a regime of BT-9, Gravidas and sometimes old seamud. All the conditioners I use small plastic tub mixed well seperately before adding into the tank.

Question to bro ecalyte, where to buy anti-chloramine? I wonder does the anti-chlorine still works against chloramine waters? But I see on market everyone still use and LFS still selling anti chlorine solutions. Somehow no one brought up about the chloramine removal in our tap water. Guess best is to use RO water these days...

Bro, both mosura shizen and seachem prime are anti-(chlorine and chloramine..) if i am not wrong ,the description label of the bottle did mention about it..
