I don't think any LFS sell submerge HC.
Hmm..I need submerged HC. I die seeing my plants melt. =( Always greeting saying hi, how you're doing today my lovelies. They just sway in acknowledgment.

Hmmm, the HC slab i got from C328 is in loose form, not tied to any mesh or wool, they're not in water either. So I assume its grown submerged. Previously I got a few batches that were tied to wool or pot, they always got some melting after just a few days.
Oh well, submerged or not, I'll try again next time with bigger tanks. For this first experimental tank, lets see what I can grow![]()
Already good. 1st try most people have issues.
Take the chance experiment more. Once you get it, things will be smooth sailing.![]()

wow your tank looks really healthy. hmm, the rock on the right bottom looks kind of out of place and flat.
@hencpu:
Do you have photos of Day 0 of your glosso? i.e. immediately after you planted them? Did you plant them so close together from day 0? If so, may I know how did you plant one strand so close to another without uprooting or disturbing its adjacent counterpart?
Spot-dosing?
Hi,
I'm planning to get a cabinet and tank. Looking at 3ft tank. I like your tank and the transparent hoses. All gotten from East Ocean?
Regards
Tam
Bro, I'm afraid I didn't take photo immediately after I planted. But on the photo above, those glosso on the frontmost were just planted, so you can roughly see the spacing of each strands.
Anyway they always got uprooted due to shrimp & nerite snail, the first few weeks I have to keep replanting them.
Yeah, with spot dosing
Wow nice tank and equipment!
Does East Ocean have 2 ft x 1 ft x 1ft tank?
Great planting then, so I suppose those (glosso) at the background were spaced the same distance apart from each other on 1st day of planting & just that, they're now grown in to fill the gaps? They look great & neat.
I had always advocate people to plant glosso deeply, i.e. until the underneath of the leaves touch substrate surface. But only recently when I did it by myself when planting node-by-node, did I recall the effort required to do so. I did my planting when the water level is just a wee bit above the substrate surface.
I'd always wondered: how does one do spot-dosing underwater? Don't the solution always get circulated away almost immediately?
