It's quite hard to find a female who's interested in aquascaping, I think. But you can educated her and let her pick stuffs for your tank so she can be a part of it
My husband just started to like this hobby as well cause I've tried to involve him in the process of decision making.

impressive start to the hobby!
i like the hardscape selection, color nd texture consistency
although the impression given by the front rock is slightly overwhelming,
but overall looks real good, looking forward to your updates!![]()
Very impressive tank and for 1st time setup, thanks for sharing.

Very cool looking tank setup! So tempting to get one cabinet with crystal glass tank!! *Already have alot tank in my house and mum is scolding*
For the scape, maybe a higher slope at the back will make the scape looks better?
On the month1 picture, i saw you kept Cardinal tetra and RCS together? I believe they will attack the shrimplet. For your info =)
Nevertheless, it's still makes me drooling as i love only IWAGUMI scape haha![]()
Its been a while since i've been back on AQ.. but its nice to see tanks like these and interested folks like yourselves.
Good going on the tank and would love to see its maturation.![]()
Nice setup , will follow this thread for the progress
Do not visit LFS if you got nothing in mind, you will end up getting nothing or useless stuff ......

nice set up!
Hi! Saw your tank and you appeared in the Straits Times on aquascaping also. You can use grey tube instead of green or transparent one. Nice setup btw.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!! TIME TO LAY BACK AND RELAX!

Good teamwork. The setup is nice and neat.![]()
Madam....you see the algae stuff on the green tube just as much as the transparent...Blue33's suggestion of grey opaque tubing sounds like a plan.

Could I ask what kind of lights you are using?
LED? The light stand caught my eye?
Care to share?
