Just wait.. They will usually embrace several times before the female embrace and lay eggs..

Thanks to all of your advise, they mated this morning till noon !
I had removed the female and all of the poops as such.
Just wondering , when would the fries be hatched & how am i to feed the fries?
As my tank solution has a hint of methylene blue in it.... I do have the water flea that I used to feed my main tank with, would it work?
the eggs should hatch in 2 days time, you do not need to feed them after they hatch for another 2 days, only feed them when they are free swimming.
water flea might be too big for them but you can try. you can get micro worms or baby brine shrimps for them to eat. you can check out my baby betta pictures and video...

Keep day in till frys are free swimming. . Don't worry about dropped frys daddy will pick them up. Don't change any water or anything now. .status quo is the best

My fighting fish fries are sort of growing i guess...
What should i do to increase the rate of survivability of the fries?
I had put in the Liquifry , a drop per day. I didn't see them feed much..
I had also put in some daphnia or "Boon" as the local call it.
What other things should i try?
And as my betta fries was bred between a Red Female & a Black Male, does feeding daphnia brings out the red in them instead of black?
You can add in some plants or java moss... boon or bbs will be great for the fries or can use micro worms.
you should be getting multicolor babies....
I can't find any micro worms sia.
I think I've lost around 50 ++ babies 😢
how big is the tank that you keep them?
go C328 or polyart buy bbs?
I think it's only 26cm long and 15cm wide.

should be good enough, but water will be dirty faster.. how many babies do you have roughly? I am thinking it is because no food and dirty water caused the death.

looks alright to me... maybe you should inspect the fries and see if they are sick...
fries at this stage is prone to velvet attack...
assassin snails will eat your other snails... so it is a no no..

BUt the dad is sick i think...
Slowly drip aged water(1litredrop of methylene to dilute the tank water every 2 days.
Till u filled up the tank fully in 1-2 weeks ,
change 50% age water by dripping method and siphon using a tubing/air stones.
Key is : more food & more water changes & space , the faster they grow.
The dad probably gone case after too tired taking care. Take out the dad..

Can anyone help me? One of my Blue Fighting Fish seems to be having Fin Rot, the end of his tail is darkening and there was some that wither away.
Yesterday I had put him in a Q tank and added 1 tablespoon of aquarium salt as suggested by online sources and today I did a 100% water change with the same water parameter but it look like it's getting worst.
Did the stomach bloated scales protruding ? If yes , internal bacteria no point treating .. Your tank also will need to disinfect before put new fish
2) if just darkening
Try salt + methylene + daily water change
