    Hi

I run a company called Aqua Essentials in the UK and am trying to get hold of a diffuser I have seen. Maybe someone on this forum can point me in the right direction?

    Thanks

    Hi Richard,

That picture sure looks familiar.... where's it from?

Anyway, this diffuser is not available in Singapore. Currently, it is only available only in Japan and sells for a WHOOPING 9800 Japanese yen! That's around 60 GBP per piece, excluding shipping. As such, it's not exactly a very popular item. Given the prices in Asia, we can practically set up a complete 2 ft tank set for that money.

    Cheers,

p.s. We will upgrade your account to a Merchant status.

Thanks for the quick reply benny!! I saw the picture on another forum

That's a fair old price tag but I'm still interested - I've never seen bubbles quite so small which is why I am interested I suppose. Now that I know it's produced in Japan, is there a ditributor that you know of?

    Hi Richard,

I do have the details, but have to go dig for it. Actually, I bought one of those units, but never got around to using it. Let me look and see, but no promises.

It's too beautiful.... (and I'm too lazy to start another tank.)

    Cheers,

p.s. Distributor's information is all in Japanese.

Unfortunately not. Most English websites/forum will carry the same pictures you see with not much further information. The fact that you chanced upon a forum half a world away from you with the information is already amazing.

In 2003, it was seen outside of Japan at Aquarama shortly after it's introduction. I reported it here, but the picture links has since been broken due to a change of the image host. I'll fix the links later and you can see detailed pictures.

But here's a teaser for you...

The links to the original post have been fixed. Enjoy. As you can see from the packaging, everything is in Japanese.

    Cheers,

p.s. May I know which other forum did you see that picture? Just curious to see where my pictures went. No intent to pursue the matter further.

    Hi Richard,

You may be interested on this link to a Japanese "Web shop". The correct part number is REV1-C21D. The site is all in Japanese so you might want to get some friends who know the language to help you to understand and send a mail to them.

Nice but JPY 10,290 is definately out of question to me.

    Regards,
    Ong Poh San

    Thanks Richard,

The source of that image has been traced to Argentina. Apparently Fernando Muņoz of CROA wrote an article and used the image on the 24 Sep 2004. His article and PDF download can be found at..

Not that I can read Spanish anyway.. but it seems like those folks thought that this little contraption is from ADA. Oh well...
