I'm crypt collecting... Starting cheap, now have Cryptocoryne beckettii, C.beckettii var petchii, C.crispatula var.balansae, C.griffithii(Melted!), C.nurii, C.parva, C.pygmaea(Melted!
), C.tonkinensis(Melted!
), C.walkeri, C.wendtii 'Brown', C.wendtii 'Green', C.wendtii 'Green Gecko', C.wendtii 'Tropica' and Cryptocoryne x willisii
Oh, juggling is hard work, man!...
Most basic book is the Oriental's plant book... Gives you a very quick reference of the plants that are definitely available in Singapore.
oh yes...I'll probably be getting oriental's plant book, can anyone pm me the price? thanks
tropica's website does have a wide range of plant info but the pictures are drawings not photos of real plants, what a waste....

Where can I get a good book which catalouge the most comprehensive of aquatic plants? What is the title? Approximate price? (I'm guessing something like kasselman's-from what I heard of). I can afford to collect during my next visit, if I may.
Back to the topic of online catalouge, I find plantgeek does have rather large collection. Theplantedtank also got one, all with member's photos but not that much variety (do donate your pic for enrichment).

Green Chapter used to have. But they took it down.
There is another called aquahobby which you could also refer to for pictures and name of plant. But not much information on requirements.
Thanks vincent and medicineman, I go check them out![]()

Such plant books can be found at some LFS... C328, Nature Aquarium etc sometimes have some good plant books available... Try looking around.
Kasselmann's Aquariumn Plants would be good... Some simpler books would be The Encyclopedia of Aquarium Plants by Peter Hiscock, The Aquarium Plant Handbook by Oriental Aquarium and the Chinese language Waterplants Picture Book to Enjoy with Aquarium. These offer good information on plants and I would consider having at least either one of them as necessary or at least advantageous...
They sure are easier to refer than to Internet websites... In my opinion lah...![]()

Guys, I thought the thread title is "Which is the Best Online Catalogue?"
I go to tropica.com, though photos are always better but I love the illustrations.
...I love rubies too ...
