ID: Is this a Sturisoma sp.? - Rineloricaria sp.

hi guys, need some help in ID-ing this catfish..
recently i suddenly got the urge to get a small sturisoma aureum aka whiptail catfish or helicopter.
but since they grow up to 1ft(base on what my friend told me) and my tank was only a 2ft planted. i decided to drop the idea..
today pass by c328 and i saw this particular whiptail look alike fish in the same tank as the aureum. i asked c328 uncle and he said that it wont grow big..
can anyone tell me this fish's name? would like to do some reserch on it..

currently at around 4cm long..




looks very much like the helicopter, just that it's "tail" is thicker..

thanks bro.. seems like the sturisoma aureum only grow to 15cm long.. should have bought that one.. abit dishearten to find that this piece i got is artifical colour..
hopefully it's redness don't fade away

15 cm long in your 2 ft tank = unhappy and cramped fish. i'm glad you didn't get it.
