    Hi Irwin,

Lens is a borrowed lens from Valice. Using a 60mm macro.

Still saving up on the 100mm macro.

    I only used 1 x 580ex flash.

    Great pair you've got Nicholas!

Male has full red ring on caudal fin and nice extended ventrals
Female's coloration is damn solid, proportionate body too...
    Hope these beauties spawn soon

    Wacky, very nice pair indeed!
Finally I get to see it.
I suspect the orange patches on the caudal in real-life is more intense than the photo.

Doubleace, as we were chatting, told you, you'll like it with the high dorsal.
It's NOT "Chee lick", NOT "Chee Chee Licks"!!! Cichlids is pronounced as "Sick Lids"!!!!!

    Irwin,

Indeed the workshop helps me in the understanding of fish photography. I still think my skill are still far from good. Maybe be setting up a photograph tank soon.

    Yorky,

Finally is the word. Haha.. The orange patches on the caudal is more intense. As the fish wasn't at the "spot sweet" of the flash.

    Andy,

Don't resist temptation. Get them. If you really want, I can let go to you.

    Cheers

Yixiang, my skill is still far away. The eyes of the apisto are not sharp. Thus it is still not good.

Actually, come to think about the position of your tanks and the working distance between your wall and the tank, the 60mm might be just nice. 100mm maybe abit long. But I can't be sure.

Nice to see it at work. Been in my cabinet for some time without being exercised.
