Called Bioplast - Mr Tan hp: 96205695 for stock and price.

Brought 2 8000k bulb from him 1 month ago, so better hurry up, stock these days are very limited especially the more affordable ones and "slight branded" one......!

Last heard Australux local distributor, may not be bring in anymore, due to the manufacturer not responding to further orders.

You are looking for double ended type or those screw in types? Does it got to be 8000k, how about those lower then 8000k?

Btw way what did Bioplast told you?
No stock, sold out or nothing?
Let me search my cabinet tonight, let you know tomorrow the brand i've got. Think hopefully you can get it from the local light shop.

    Cheers!

I'm curently using 6500K, look yellowish. I'm looking for 150W double ended, and the color temp kind out affected by Amano article on light spectrum. Red spectrum lost intesity about 60% to 70% at the bottom of 1.5ft tall tank.

Bioplast do not have it in stock, and the uncle say very difficult to get

C328 have 10000K and 14000K, it probably blueish.

Attached is what i got from Bioplast. Think about last month. Price around $30plus.

I was initially on Astralux MH bulbs 150w DE 8000K Ultra White, double end but when i decided to get replacement after 1.5~2yrs of usage, there was none. No one seems to have 8000k anymore. Though they are, but either too costly or are brands that i haven't heard off.

And that's when i went to Bioplast and saw their tanks and decided try 6500k. Results no bad and at least now my tank looks more natural, not blueish like before.

However if you're interested to found out how a 8000k bulb will look in your tank, you can try my Astralux 8000k. But if you give me a choice, i'll still pick the 6500k, it's more natural and pictures taken will also turn out better.

    Cheers!

Don't know about the top 2 links, however the last one, no luck. That's where all the Astralux came from, Viclite is the local distributor.

One month back i was checking with them on the stock. Called once, was told stock have yet arrived, so wait for another week or so, answer still the same.

So decided to chat with the nice lady to understand what has happen.
It appear that the oil rich country, UEA is the manufacturer of the Astralux, Vilclite have repeat request for replenishment of stocks but the manufacturer just didn't even bother to reply. Initial they (Vilclite )though it was the quantity - may be too little. So they group up several huge light shop in Singapore to made another order. But still till that day still not reply....!

But do check with them again, if they told you no stock at least you know why. But if there's stock do share the information.

    Cheers!

If you want to test out the blub and feel the color, let me know.
You can try my used Astralux 8000k 150W double ended and all you have to do is just pass me the "ikan" in your avatar.

    Cheers

Hi all, I searched for 8000k bulbs before and I only 3 brands in SG are ADA, Astralux (no more now) and Mizusaki (Can't remember exactly the name). The Mizusaki one almost same price as ADA. While in HK, I saw 2 other cheaper (ard $6x) brands like SolarMax (taiwan) and one other (Australia) - forgot the name...
