I just came back from there last week. CTY is located at Jalan Burmah. Jalan Burmah is a one way main road thus CTY is located on the right side of the road. It is a 3 storey high building that only that sells fish and pets. First floor is fish and pets. Mezanine floor is equipment floor. The highest floor is aquascaping floor.

The fish is very very cheap. You will be awestruck at the price expecially based on our stronger exchange rate. I bought 8 fishes when I was there last week. AVA allows us to bring in up to 30 fishes in 3 litres of water.

I tried to buy shrimps too but they got very limited shrimps. Shrimps will be a bit expensive. Not worth it to buy from there. Order from Mizu or buy locally here will be cheaper. No photography is allowed in that area. Anyway the equipment is really very cheap also. I bought 1 packet of 2 small airstones at only 40 malaysian cents. Silicon tubing is also cheap!!!!

I drove there and back with my family and I asked them to packed the fishes one day in advance and left it in my hotel room overnite before driving home the next day. All were still alive.

I came across an aquatic cafe in Penang. Wonder if anyone has been to there.

The address is 1228 P, Jalan Paya Terubong, 11060 Ayer Itam, Penang

You can drink and admire the arowana at the same time.
