    Hello,
I bought the new bogwood four weeks ago and i put it into my spare fish tank for it to leech out. Until now, I still see that the tank water become brown. how long do i need to wait to get the clear water? Any procedures that i should do to speed up the process? Now I just put it into the water and change water once per two days.

What i do is soak in hot water.
Then soak in a pail for a day.
Follow by brush out the surface of the wood.

Then completely wash again and place in the tank.
    It works well for me.

Depends on where you buy the bogwood. If its really dirty, i would probably pass then buy it. I usually brush up my bogwood, soak in hotwater + bleach, resoak in vinegar+ hotwater, soak in dechlorinated water , rinse and resoak in a period of 6-7 weeks before actually introducing it to the main tank. Usually coloration is dispeled after the 3rd week.
