Here are some Pictures of my tank. any comments on any improvement to my tank is welcomed.

PH at 6-6.5 Using DW and dip a bag of Peat till its PH dropped and removed it, not in filtration system.
Salt added previously with anti-internal Bactiera. Enough salt to sustain the BS for some time.
Diet on NLS small pellets, BS, Dried Blood Worms and pellets for growth. Black package.

Hope I am not overloading the tank

    Tankmates:
    1male 2 female Macmasteri
    5 x L183
    8 x runny nose (removed).
2 x weird couple. Hope to ID it soon
1 x giant snail. The other 1 died with some dead small snails in her. Only 1 baby survived.

    Male and Mother Female

Currently 1 of the Female Macmasteri has laid her eggs at the front cave with built up subtract at the entrance. 3rd day so i have a divider and theres no interaction with other tankmates.

Hope I have made your day interesting.

    Enjoy

You have some young bristlenose plecos and a pair of Stiphodon gobies in your tank.

    johannes, hengyi's updates are here:

    http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...ad.php?t=64952

By the way hengyi, I don't think the gobies are suited for your tank. They probably require cooler and higher pH water. I remember seeing one turning bright blue at the old Choong Sua Aquarium, before it closed down. The fish was kept in a fairly cool planted tank where the pH was probably 7 or so. They are most likely brackish water fishes, and thus require a special tank just for themselves.

I do think you have a 1M/1F pair of Stiphodon actually. But species is unknown since there is a lack of identification materials available on the web.

Re: Sharing my 1.5X1.5 feet tank

Thanks for all the IDs! appreciate it!

The Eggs are still taken care by the female with partition away from the rest.

Hey Stormhawk thanks for advice. They seem to do well in my tank with a PH of 6-6.5 and at 26 Degrees. Darn didnt know they are not feeling comfortable but i arent going any lower for its for the apistos. If i see that they are not doing well i will give them away. Thoese interested, they are being sold at C328 for 4xpurple note for a pair

Re: Sharing my 1.5X1.5 feet tank

I saw the gobies but didn't buy, because they need a specialised tank to be happy. Temperature seems to be key for these fish. As long in the lower 20s they seem to be very happy.

Re: Sharing my 1.5X1.5 feet tank

Haiz... came back to see the eggs are moldy and the female hiding at another cave...

Now my male and another female is forced by this female to a corner and the two of them hide there and the female is constantly chasing the male. around stressing him. What should i do? What causes the eggs to get moldy?

    ARG!!!

Re: Sharing my 1.5X1.5 feet tank

Female in breeding dress and male flaring back at her as the king again but the other female is in hiding. Anyone interested in macmasteri female??

Hey why do the egss get moldy? the female was guarding it previously. think she left when her eggs turn modly.bad water conditions?my canister outlet is submerge in water. so no sound n air bubbles. not enough oxygen for the eggs? i have some plants and moos which require CO2 and i learnt from a poly lecturer that in order to retain CO2 u must not have any air bubbles breaking the surface. that true? THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP

Re: Sharing my 1.5X1.5 feet tank

Sometimes it is due to the pH of the water. At lower pH fungus is usually inhibited. The use of ketapang leaves or peat extract helps too.

As for your eggs, it is likely that the female does not know how to care for her eggs successfully. Many farm-bred fish are unable to do this, if they were separated from the mother at an early stage. If you want to try and do artificial incubation, it is possible as well, but let the female do the egg care. If for some reason the next spawn shows the same results, perhaps artificial incubation might be worthwhile.
