CO2 reactor

Hi,

I am currently using the spinning ball type of CO2 reactor where the water inlet to the tank goes through the container with spinning balls inside before going out to the tank.

Is there any other type of CO2 reactor that is better and where to get them?See only the common type like ceramic diffuser and the spin ball type in aquarium shops.

Reactor are one of the best diffusors around as its been known to dissolve 100% CO2, ceramic diffusors comes 2nd due to its small space useage in the aquarium.

There's this external reactor .... It works pretty well .. i would say just like your internal reactor but this time without the bio balls. Ans it doesnt occupy a space in your tank. Almost all LFS housed this product.

The external reactor is a good option as well, doesnt take up space as it mounted outside of your tank. I didnt DIY an external one is due to the fact you need a canister filter to run through it.

[Aquaculture]

The ISTA external reactor works well for me. It has 2 'fans' powered by your canister mixing the H2O & CO2. Over at the outlet, I don't see any wastage of CO2.

I wanted to get the ISTA reactor initially, but didn't have a canister filter and the size wasn't quite nano for a nano tank ,

Seems nano tank owners have to DIY lots of stuff.
