then i think i must remove it as soon as possible
for some more aggressive apistos, they won't just eat the shrimp. i've had 2 fish kill shrimp for fun. they would attack then leave the carcasses to rot without even eating
anyway my apisto has just die, kana killed by the male.now have to look for another female
Apisto are territorial and agressive, i wouldnt be surprise if they kill your shrimps for game or for food. Not advisable to keep them together. Do you have an existing tank setup with them or thinking about starting one ?
my apisto die instead!!luckly i have two other nano tank to house them.thinking of getting one more pair two be the resident of my coming up two feet plant tank
i'm sorry for your lost.

Just went to C328 to get a pair of A.nijsseni![]()
Shrimps will become snacks for your Apistos. But if you can provide lots of hiding spaces then some of your shrimps might survive. Personally i wouldn't take the risk on the more pricey shrimps like CRS.
I'm not sure whether this is OT but I believe you should set up the tank first before you get the fish. Apistos are not known to do well in newly setup tanks. Also if you are housing a pair in a small tank then one of them will probably get killed by the other or die of stress.
the shrimps will have their very tank
thanks you for your pointers, i will take note. now i have three pairs each with their own tank
hope to find one more nice pair for my coming two feet plant tank.... any suggestion??
