    Its simply breathtaking!
    And it looks easy to maintain.. can the plant expert id what are the plants in the tank?
    Would be nice to do one like this!

    Beautiful tank, pic is quite small so can't really tell for sure but seems to be a mixture of blyxa japonica, bolbitis, moss and narrow leaves java ferns.

    Yorky i agree with you it's a dream tank. When the algae starts to kick in...it's boring...

    It looks as if its almost all narrow leave java ferns. I like it too! Inspirational indeed.

    When the algae kicks in, remove all the plants, thow in more wood and leaf litter, add in the black water and reduce the lights and Wa la! you get a apistos biotope such as Norbert's Amazon tank

    But it's easier to maintain a black water biotope instead of a lush green aquascape...

    The more you don't see your apisto the better for them....

    Sigh! It's like paradise to own a big tank like that. I'm already dreaming... 4footer, chilled, one MH pendant, coarse white sand foreground, clean, BBA-free driftwood, green plants, a school of Lemon tetras, admiring whoops from friends and relatives...
