Things you do for your fish hobby during this Christmas

With christmas just around the corner, most of us will be busy shopping for clothes and presents. I want to know whether will the bros and sis here usually buy anything special for their pet fishes or the hobby during this festive season? eg buy new filter or filter media, pump, lights etc

For me i usually do a spring cleaning for my filters, clean up my planted tank fan and about 4 days before christmas i'll give my fishes more regular treats of blood worms (which they love) until after New Year.

I know Christmas is a period of generosity, but you don't have to bless us with 3 duplicate threads!!! We moderators usually work on AQ during our free time, but please don't give us extra work.

i'll hang little red socks for the fishes around the aquarium and wait for Santa to drop something into the socks. but i guess santa won't be coming this year because there is no chimney in the HDB.

Well... it's not so much for the fishes, but during Christmas and New Year, the tank does get a bit of sprucing up so that visitors won't go "Wah!! What is that jungle?".

Sorry about it because after i post, the page went crazy and says error and ask me to refresh. But when refreshed, did not see that it's posted, got fed up and click on the "back" botton to return to the "post new tread" page to try and post again. This happened a few times. When it's finally posted, realised that i had posted a few times and not long later my computer hang.
