the glosso looked "weak" because my friend had leftovers and gave it to me..
just tried my luck and planting hoping that they will grow =P

my friend suggested i used the smaller pointy rock and point it towards the bigger rock..
if to follow iwagumi rules..

Break the rules
Frankly the rockwork looks not bad. Are there 3 or 2 rocks inside? The one in the middle, if it is a seperate rock, should be repositioned because its texture is showing too much white.

I have no knowledge of nano tank setup but I'd like to offer you a few words on glosso. As you are well aware of it being on a ' weak' side, I think you should seriously get some more & plant it properly so that you can enjoy its full beauty when fully grown.

Promising set-up you have there. It's always good to have high plant mass at the start to prevent algae from gaining a foothold. How about adding in some hortwort as a temporary measure until the main plants which I believe are Glossostigmata and Moss have settled in? Also, it seems a little early to be adding in critters but it looks like they are alright.

are you putting the red packet as top soil or bottom soil, I currently only have 1 type of substract which is the red, plant and shrimp soil, however, find it lighter and i could effective hold roots for many of the Japanese hair grass that i have.

updates updates. today would be day 7 for the tank. i know its a little bit too early.. but seems my flora and fauna is doing okay.
glosso growing new roots.. but sadly. i'm strangely pondering to use HC "cuba" instead
shrimps. some already molted. even 1 female is carrying eggs. but still too small to confirm. but can see there are things there

bro, i noticed you have a charcoal bamboo behind the rocks. why not remove it? plant Hair grass to give you a nice thick back ground.
as for HC, you will need good level of co2, ferts like micro and macro and of course high lighting. with your 11watt PL, i doubt HC is gonna creep. but its worth giving it a try!
as for your rock placement. it seems like you have 3 rocks. 2 together on the left while 1 on the right.. the whitest rock in your tank(which is the one in the middle i presume..) should be taken out or you turn around and see which side is darker in colour.. the white part somehow or rather spoils the nice looking scape you have..

?? i didnt know the red colored soil lowered PH, it indicated "maintain PH" in Japanese/chinese
