oh...hmm....thats not totally true...nowadays many products build to a range of 110v-240v
For mobile phones, cameras and laptop perhaps. Have yet to see these kind of power ratings for aquarium equipments.
Anyway, there are some fertilizers if you are keen to try. Kent Botanica series for one.

Hi benkho, if you into planted tank, why not get yourself a bag of Eco Complete Planted Aquarium Substrate? The US planted tank hobbyists all gave thumbs up to this product.
So far none of our lfs has brought in this product yet.
Good luck carrying that back...
But i think in america...you should be allowed baggages of 30kg each...so maybe no probs.
