Mini Pelia developing Sporophyte?

Hi all,

I have a 1 feet tank in my office for close to 3 months already. Recently I saw Sporophyte-like bulbs developing on the mini pelia, anyone else experience the same thing? The size is less than 1mm by the way.

The "sporophyte-like" growth have darken and fallen off. See attached picture taken 10 days ago ....

Well, might not be able to observe if that is how the plant spread because I can't really find the part that fell off, since my ADA substrate is black, not to mention that the size of it is around the size of the poo poo from my shrimp, same color some more.
