Hi everyone,
How to improve the plants outlook of this tank?
I like to share with you my 1 ft. nano tank, hope to receive comments so as to improve my planting knowledge.
Tank size: 12 x 7 x 9.5H inches. Low-tech with filtration, lighting 13watts.
I intend to introduce killifish or ram, not sure which one easy to breed.

Can work more on the background. The midground will do good with just the java windelov fern. Can try crypts (c.wendti green or c.wendti undulata red) or put up moss wall.
I will go for ram. i find them easier to breed and they are magnificent fish! Killifishes, they seems to be more shy. You have however the last call.
Shirley relax,we all been through that stage. Though some of the people here seems to born with the creativity.. Here, we learnt by looking at each other's work, journal and compare to our own creation. Then we improve.
Yes, you are right must work on something for the background, and loved to make it looks beautiful. I have got a pair of killifish-rachovii, but the female died, so left the male. Considering.
Shirley, we all learn as a beginner, and kept looking at others work to get knowledge from the experts.

Bro I actually prefer the look of the tank before you rescaped it but the after look not too bad either. Just that the initial look give a cleaner look which I am trying to achieve but no space in my flat for more tank and no time to do more wc.
Just a suggestion, for your latest tank look, try placing the middle rock at an angle against the biggest rock on the right to make a slanting rock feature with these 2 rocks since the first rock has a slight slanting feature. Work on the background and you have a beautiful in the making

Hi bro,
The first picture you see here in this post is a 1 ft. tank which has been rescape from its original quite sometime ago.
The second picture you see here is a new 1.5 ft. tank still under construction and observation which not complete yet.
This afternoon I will shift the center rock of the 1 ft. tank and see what's the out come like. And try something on the background. Thanks.
Pardon me. Looking forward to your finished masterpiece.

I think you can fill up more water... the larger the water volume... the more stable the tank will beHow about some narrow leaf Java Fern?
Hi everyone,
