Exploring a granite hill & nearby jungle

November 29, 2008. The monsoon season is just started in Borneo. Most of the areas in southern part of Sarawak was hit by thunder storm that afternoon but we felt that we're blessed because there was no rainfall in the jungle where we're exploring.

However, we donated our blood to blood sucking leeches when we're trekking in the wet jungle floor.

In this expedition, I found Amorphophallus eburneus for the first time outside the limestone habitat; a granite hill forest!!!
