Pretty nice, suggestion to add some foreground plant, move the downoi closer to the rock maybe at those epmty space between the rock.

    Look like Cryptocoryne wendtii ''brown''

Hey dude, I like it man. Simple clean and something you can be proud of. Take your time, let things grow a bit and then decide. A nice slow holistic approach is always nice. Keep it up man.

    Hey man

I PM'ed you the link to my tank.

There is this very nice plant I started using and you will see it right in front of my tank. I have no clue what it is called. Bright green leaves. APP I think, not sure. It might work for you.

Also what is HG? Oh wait, Hairgrass . . silly me. I have some in my tank that I am hoping comes to life and settles down .

    Nice aquascape!

You could use Jap. HG near the rocks, and HC in the rest of foreground. It's difficult to control the growing of the Jap HG above the HC, but its give a nice effect.

    Regards

great idea!! maybe i should have both.. Wehn you mentioned placing the HG near the rocks, you mean on the right side or the left? i somewhat feel that the crypt is out of tune with the tank..

so now i will hunt for the HG and HC.

Nice scape ! Your rocks look really good.
I noticed that the individual particle size of your base substrate is quite big... planting HC could be a chore.

try to use something to keep it down, like tooth pick break in half in 'V' shape. Use it to nail the HC to the substrate.
