    Hi,

I am looking for a clip on light for my 60cm tall cylinder moss tank. Currently using a 15W PL clip on, which Mr Chan of NA said is the most powerful for a clip on.

Anyone know where to get higher Watts clip on light?
Or any other alternatives besides clip ons??

    Thanks.

Just replace the bulb to a higher wattage, can get up to 24w if not wrong.
What is the width of your tank? Can try this one if within 1ft:

I believe the physical dimension of the lights does not permit longer tubes to be used.

    Hi,

Because my tank rim is circular, it can only fit a clip on light.
Maybe I can try looking for a higher Wattage bulb to fit. Chan said even if I were to fit a higher wattage bulb, the ballast will not support it.
    So not sure also.
But i'm considering finding other kinds of lamps from those lighting shops that have higher wattage.

How about the Ikea Tertial desktop lamp (about $14) you can fit bulb from 5 to 30W.

does it have to be clip on? since your tank is circular, hang from top might be easier.
