    Dear All

I bought 2 dwarf oto for Clementi. they died overnight. I was quite sad then i got another one it survived but don't know the name. Could some one identify this?

Is this also a algae buster?

    Regards
    Anthony

It seems to be the commmon otocinclus available in LFS. If acclimatised properly these are very hardy.

They are good algae eaters but only eat certain types of algae.

I hope they like brown algae. I actually wanted to get dwarf for this job... but they cannot survive even overnight. Sigh....

I think these are also known as dwarf otos. There are too many common names for this fish. What you have is most likely the most easily available type of otocinclus in LFSes here.
Unless you are looking for the more uncommon ones like Otocinclus cocama, I think this is the fish you were looking for to clear algae.
