need to get a chiller, crs breed around 24 to 25 degree
Hi
I am a Newbies in keeping CRS
Recently just set up a 3 feet low-tech tank with quite a bit of plant, and have over 100pcs of CRS & golden with different grade in it. I am using a fan to cool down the water at around 26 to 27 Degree.
However after a six week, have not see any progress. Hope I can get some advice here.
Thanks in advance

I heard that CRS grade that are lower should be able to breed around 26 to 27 degree, hence was trying out for the lower grades, but seems it is not working as well.
I am currently trying to get a Chiller as well to see if matter improve. But still budget hunting for a chiller... due to cost constraint
Hey by the way anyone know what chiller is best for a 3 feet tank?

yes, it is true that grade B to C can breed at temperature of 27-28 deg C. Let them settle down first, 6 weeks may be too short to see result? what about other parameters? tank condition varies from tank to tank, so take it slowly.
Hi Jimmy thanks for the advice, will have more patient than...
By the way today I happen to see one of my Golden berries with quite a number of eggs, however not sure what will be the outcome, should I seperate them in a breeding net?

you are most welcome. we all learn from each other here.
as for the mummy, i would let the nature takes its own course rather than go catch it and also stress it. i don't use breeding net at all for my CRS.

yes golden will either give birth to golden crs,crs or bds.
