Some help needed again. It's pertaining to Co2. I realise that the BPS is my counter will decrease each day. Meaning to say if i turn it up to 2BPS today, the next day when the solenoid is turn on the BPS will go back to less than 1BPS. I have to manually turn it up. Anyone ever encounter this problem? is it because the Co2 is finishing? I check the gauge and the needle is still pointing to 1000PSI.

is your regulator single gauge or double gauge?





OK so that weird, double gauge normally more stable. Your 1sdt gauge show 1000psi that mean you have plenty CO2 inside. how about your 2nd gauge? It should show around 25-30 psi. Did you fully open the main valve?





The number shown on the gauge look OK. Does the main valve open fully? and by the way when the solenoid on for a while it turn hot. It heating up the needle valve and BPS will change. However it is normally just a slight change.
You might want to bring it to the expert like NA or bioplast![]()

The main valve is turn to the fullest already, no more allowance to turn more. Hmm, might be the solenoid is spoilt? Because i actually bought this co2 system 2nd hand from another seller in AQ. Used it for less than 2 months, hope that i do not have to spend more else it will defeat the purpose of me buying it. Anyway thanks you for your help and time i will bring it down to NA or Bioplast.

The way you adjust may make a difference. Did you overshot the bps, then slowly tune it down whenever you adjust? If so, it'll take the built up pressure sometime before it stabilises. Meaning to say, for eg.
You want 2 bps. You turn the knob and count, realise it is more than 2bps. So you turn it down slowly, till you get 2bps. But in fact, the valve is open at the rate of 1bps, just that there is still built up pressure, therefore showing 2bps.
What you should do, is to slowly adjust the fine tune valve from closed, slowly to 1bps, then to 2bps. If you overshot by a little, its ok. Leave it for half a day, check again. If it goes lower, then slightly adjust it up again. It may take a few attempts to finally get the rate constant, but when it does, it should not fluctuate a lot till the CO2 in the main tank is running out.
For the main valve, do not forcefully open it all the way. Lightly open it all the way, then turn it back a quarter round.
Last thing to check: Is your secondary gauge (the one showing the lower PSI) constant? If not, then the problem is with your regulator, therefore your bps fluctuates.
Hope you can understanding my points, as I am not phrasing them very clearly now....

Thank you very much for Your reply. Yes I normally overshot the bps by abit then tune it down to the bps I require. However this thing only happen to me recently so I am unsure what might have caused it. Anyway I have use Your method but not sure if I got it right. The 2nd gauge psi seemed constant, to me at least. I will monitor it closely and see if it goes down again. Will post a update once the reading is constant. I have also turn the main valve 1/4 turn back. Thanks again and have a good weekend
