hahah gsa and green hair.. thinking of getting nerite for gsa, but green hair think wanna try improving circulation and some duck weeds to soak up the nutrients then see how. sian now cannot spend too much time on the tank cuz of exams.. let the algae grow out of hand.

Oh gSa just manual scrape off lor or nerite work as well. As for hair algae dont think its circulation leh, manually remove what you can see and do regular water changes lor. What kind of fertilisers u dose? Ya exams come first ba. After exams then meddle with your tank! LOL

Oh gSa just manual scrape off lor or nerite work as well. As for hair algae dont think its circulation leh, manually remove what you can see and do regular water changes lor. What kind of fertilisers u dose? Ya exams come first ba. After exams then meddle with your tank! LOL

i don't dose ferts lei, only liquid co2. but i do have some kinda JBL 7+13 ball fertilizer buried underneath my soil.

nice update btw. your plants so lush green and dense haha. looks like you have stopped keeping your harlequins for crs/bds

Oh. Liquid Co2? excel? haha. Maybe you have to do regular water changes. And yes i have gave up my harlequins for crs/bds. they do not co exist. I only got 1 otto in my tank. LOL!

Hi Jiajuen.

Not too sure what happened but i believe it might have died from white spots. Many of my ottos die of white spots as well. However one main reason why i can not treat them with white spots medication is because i have shrimps in my tank. Anyway i just replaced 2 more L183 recently, few days back. Hope they do well..

bro nice tank man!!!! i think if you let your moss grow and mature.. your tank will be more beautiful!!!! trust me.. by the way good job Your shrimp look nice.. may be you want to try adding 1 or 2 SSS grades or even crowns im sure you will love it!!!

Thank you for your kind words! I am now letting the moss grow naturally, will post an update soon? haha. Anyway i would really like to add in some higher grades crs like SSS or Crown but i am afraid of casualties man! and SSS/Crowns dont come cheap. Another worry is that my is only a small tank and the water condition might not be good enough for higher grades. Maybe i will wait till my berried BDS hatch first then decide..

Do not worry to much . If your low grades can survive i believe the high grade can from what i seen, your tank is in air-con room and if you used the right soil, i sure it will survived. I can give you my sss grade but too bad i decom my tank but you can buy with the bro here.they affordable and solid colours too.
