Questions of berried crayfish

My crayfish, very common, Cherax Quadricarinatus, is berried for roughly 1week? I just did a 100% water change, i don't think there's any harm done because they seem 'happier' and more active.

1) Should i remove the male from the tank? Currently in 1.5feet tank with 4 PVC pipes to hide in.

Honestly, my mum especially, spends hours staring at them at night. For them, i'm trying my best to gather info on how to keep as many as possible to survive. She even offered to get another tank just for them. They are rather peaceful together.

I've googled and search here in AQ and in other forums. Not much on what i want to find.

eh wild caught, eggs just turned brown. hopefully soon, i'll see baby crays.

i guess it's near my dad's workplace there, they caught afew. i meant his workers. and they passed him one to bring back. the rest are with them. from what i heard, they will only appear on rainy days when the river/canal floods there.

What size is The PVC pipe you use for their hide out?

Size of my fist? I'm not very sure, sorry! I would suggest the pvc pipe size to be just nice for your crayfish, or just alittle bigger. Because i have a huge one and a regular size pvc pipe, she always hide in the regular size pvc pipe instead and NEVER in the huge pvc pipe. More sense of security i supposed?

Anyway, what crayfish did you bought?

hmm dont need to remove the crayfish until you see the babies actually hatch.. they'll cling on to the female crayfish for sometime before finding places to hide.. thats the time to separate them. catch the female one with the already hatched crayfish out and standby another tank or big container. shake the crayfish till it releases all of its babies into the another tank or big container(filled with water of course)... leave the small crayfish in the another tank and feed them live earthworms(those red ones selling in lfs)...

I bought blue crayfish and also a cool white colour crays

BuT I'm still searching for more variety
Forgot to mantion I also Hav red crayfish
They very small
How long for them to grow around 5 cm?now it's 2cm all
