What soil are you using? Quite weird that gh can be this low. Do you wc alot?
Its hardly possible to get a GH1 since our own drinking water should be around 2.
Any other chemicals that you added in the tank as well??? Are u using ADA soil???
Presuming your test kit not spoil, the best item to cure ur PH and GH is Benibachi Fulvic Grain which stablize PH 6-6.5 and GH to 4, which can get from Green Chapter in Clementi block 354.

Not sure about soil, was given by LFS bloke, he recommend I take. WC, not really, just the top up when water evaporates. My water treated with mosura mineral plus and seachem prime. They're bottled and I just top it up when water level falls about 1 cm from my 10" x 10" x 12" 18L tank.
Should I add or leave tank to cycle some more since I'm going to be away for 2 weeks? Current residents- 2 ramshorn 2 Sakura.

Sorry Yany, hijacked your thread again.
ok... bought GH test kit and tested. As of now, parameters as follows:
PH = 5
KH = 1
GH = 3
Soil = ADA Amazonia
PH is low, can Tera PH liquid test kit show 5? Cos my API liquid test kit only shows minimum 6 (yellow color on the color chart).
The rest are ok.
Since you don't add anti-chlorine like (Mosura Shizhen or Seachem Prime), how long did you age your water before adding into your tank?
How long did you cycle your tank before adding the shrimps?
I suppose you are using a small hangover filter with media like ceramic rings for your small tank?
Probably after a few weeks when your tank is properly cycled then you add shrimps and will not have problem.
Do another thing, check your Ocean Free anti-chlorine's bottle label if there are iron or copper in it.
Unlike chlorine, which can dissipate with vigorous aeration over a day or two, chloramine has a half-life of 6 months unless treated with appropriate additives. That 'bonus' was introduced slightly prior to Newater being served up our mains and the old-school mindset of aging tap water is no longer applicable. Please refer to the local waterworks serving your area for more details.
Also, since different substrates are known to require varying cycling periods, a one-week old setup is usually a no-go for most regulars here, to start adding shrimps.
I'm back & keeping 'em fingers wet,

Yany, how are your shrimps now?
Last 2 standing.. No death since Sunday. Have not tested water since.
I've to go away for 12 days, take it as second cycle though I'm so tempted to buy more shrimps. But I'll wait it out, just told my kids to top up with conditioned ( mosura mineral plus and seachem prime) water when the level drops due to evaporation.
