This just get better and better. It was a real surprise to find 2 berried mamas in my 3ft planted! Hopefully, the fries can survive and find enough place to hide from the fishes!

Erm.. Don't know if it's good or bad news to you but Red nose shrimps shouldn't give birth in freshwater.. They breed in brackish waters.. So even if they get berried, also no shrimplets...

the eggs will hatch into small little lavae and they will swim around the tank for a while before they die or eaten up as fish food!

by the way, where did you get them from? dont see them around much nowadays

They are beautiful shrimp... nice color of red and shinny silver/gold tail....
they eat algae and plant. so sometime you might see some of your plant leave have little holes.

but they are great addition to planted tank due to their color and algea eating ability. love them.

Maybe you can transfer them into a tank with brackish water so that the shrimplets can survive?

Bro, care to share how much you got them for? Looks cute, maybe can get a few pieces to try out.
Fish keeping is not a good hobby unless you received support from your family to keep them.

I prefer these to Yamato as they are cuter and smaller... so far, no algae and not nipping my plants either
