Oh that's nice. What other species do you keep? At least your Persephone is doing well and is healthy. They are beautiful fishes to keep even if they don't breed. Some times it's hard to understand why they act the way they do too. Just this morning, I lost my burdigala male because he decided to explore the sponge filter tube and couldn't get out. -.-"
Cheers,
Bernard
Kept (no more) Betta persephone, B. miniopinna, B. sp. palangkaraya, B. uberis, B. channoides, B. burdigala
Pseudepiplatys annulatus, Nannostomus eques
Wow... They are rare too.. My condolences to you bro.
Remove the tube, because when fish of any type squeeze in.. Very hard for them to get out.
Out of 3 pairs, I am left with Betta channoides and Betta krataois.
