so I wanna relocate my fish and they're in a planted tank...

any tips on how to relocate 2in tetras? the tank is full of water at the moment and quite frankly, it's almost imposible. the only thing I can think of is to drain the water to very low levels and catch them that way. thoughts? thank you

You can build trap using plastic bottle.

I suppose this involves more than just sinking a plastic bottle inside the tank?

Yes, use those mineral water, cut the bottle 1/3 from the head, reverse it and put back to the left 2/3 of the bottle. Make some holes to release trap air. Put some rock to weighy it and put fish food as bait.

Wait for the night, off all the light for an hour or 2. Just wait for the tetra to fall asleep and you can catch them easily.

Wow, reminds me of the young days using this to catch tiger barbs in the ponds. Din tot of using them for this purpose, ingenious idea for not stirring a mess in the planted tank.
