I have check the LFS at C328 and Qianhu for the same model 2211,
Polyart quote me $100 after discount.
The other LFS at C328 the messier shop, auntie quote me $80+. (can't remember the exact price)
Qianhu sells one at $58.
Is there any other places that sell cheaper than Qianhu?
17.14g (60 x 30 x 36 cm) Brace-less Front-Curved Tank, T5 2FT 14W x2 (6500K), Eheim 2034 (600L/hr), 3L CO2 Cylinder + JBJ Electric Solenoid, ADA Power Sand Special - S, ADA Amazonia New Aqua Soil Normal
Did any of the ones had media included.
Please do not just look at price alone, as like many bros know after buying.
Normally the difference is not very huge. Like what you quoted at 1st.
Likewise, if budget too tight can alway look at used ones. Or alternate brands.

Qianhu sells one at $58? that's very surprising! you sure it is correct? anyway what i know is C328 is among the cheapest. Qianhu is on the other end.
i think the $58 dollar is without full media .. Please check because i just bought an Eheim 2213 and the price difference between full media and just sponge is the price difference you are quoting now ..
Just a gentle reminder on price comparisons:

Hmmm i did not check whether media was included as i thought it was sold separately, first time buying an eheim.
I see so there is with full media and without full media version.
The one sold at Qianhu should be without full media i guess, as the whole packaging was quite light when i picked it up. Will do a more thorough inspection the next time i drop by. Will check at Seaview too.
Thanks for the info guys, will update again after i check.

Normally Chan will give you rough estimate over phone but not exact price, unless he change![]()
Qian Hu usually the highest. C328 or NA the lowest. Chan customer service better. C328 unlce and aunt too busy to entertain customer.
Seaview selling $85, just saw the price this morning, without media....

If you use ecco pro 130, the filter media should be substratpro. I am using it now and is fine with it. You can use biohome, heard good reviews about it but pretty expensive or pumice stone, cheaper thou.
Saw the price of biohome at C328, holy nuts! why is it so expensive?
Emailed qian hu and they replied me with the price of ecco pro 130 ($200+, with media) and classic 150 ($100+, w/o media). Guess it makes more sense to get the ecco pro 130. Anyway have yet to find out the price from NA. Recently went to C328 but they only have classics on their shelve. Hmmm, still considering for my december big overhaul...

By the way i'd like to add that if you're getting the Classic, it's better that you also buy the on/off valve (which adds to the overall cost of the filter) so that it's easier for you when you're doing your regular filter maintainence. As for the biomedia, if you're not happy with the ones that comes with the filter, you can get the Seachem Matrix (value for money for the very large amount of surface area it has).

I can see a lot fish keeper tent to buy EHEIM canister fliter. I using a tetra canister filter VX100. I using is For a 2FT tank. Which brand is a better brand?
It's definately Eheim...... The second best filter is Eheim and the Best is ADA.
I was given a Tetra EX Power filter quite some time back and though i haven't used it yet, i must say that it has a few design issues that i'm not comfortable with. Without going into details, one of the main issues is the impellor....... It was used by the previous owner for a short period of time (less than a yr) when the impellor was spoilt. He bought a new one and gave it to me together with the filter but that too is spoilt when i had a look at the spare. On closer inspection, i noticed that it is a design flaw that causes it to spoil easily. The reason is because the surface area of the white plastic "head" that is attached to the impellor body/magnet is very small, making it prone to coming off.
