Thanks Robert for sharing. Must have been great to be able to see all these beautiful scapes and get a chance to meet the master himself.
Yeah. it is great experience, why don't you experience your self next year![]()
Wow, amazing scapes!! Hope to be there to view them "live" one fine day![]()
try to go there during IAPLC party otherwise not easy to go to the gallery by public transport except taxi. It is quite some distance from train station. During IAPLC party, they will provide bus from train station to the gallery you will also be able to visit Amano-san house

Thank you for sharing. Is it true that all tanks in ADA gallery is algae free? Whey, that's a genuine question : P

Not quite true, during my 2009 visit, many of the tank with agae, typically bga at the side of the tank and bba on the wood. This time around I would say spotless. Of course this time all the scape are new, all of them. If you follow ADA view, the scape was setup exactly last year after IAPLC party. The only old scape I can recall is the one at entrace and you do see algae, bba, on the rock surface, under control though.

This is the tank that I'm talking about on above post. This scape probably been there for easily over 10 years.

very inspiring aquascapes!
thanks robert for sharing
I am an advocate for goals towards tank longevity. At least you leave things alone (when tired) than giving up tanks, selling away and etc.

Hi Shadow, wonder if you've seen this scape when you were there? I like it much but seems to be missing from the youtube updates. Not sure what happened to it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0ZV...e_gdata_player
