Where to buy : long shallow tank ?

Hi Everyone !

This all started when I decided to get betta for my kids. While researching about betta, I stumbled upon this
forum and got poisoned by the shrimps !

So now, after reading a lot about shrimp tank for the last few weeks, I have the basic ideas of how to get started.

But before I bombard you guys with details of the setup, I need to get my tank first !


I am really interested in the Mr Aqua 12 gallon tank :

Anyone know where I can buy this in Singapore and how much does it cost ?


Also, are there other similar tanks with similar dimension ?


I like the Mr Aqua tank also because of it's clarity and it's thickness (rather it's thin-ness ?).


Appreciate your help on this.

not same brand but sea view got few nice shallow 2ft tank.
nornal glass though, around 50ish i think

I have seen long shallow tanks in seaview. But last week i did not see any. you might want to drop them a call before going down.

Another place with Mr Aqua tank is C328 if i am not wrong.

Closest in dimensions and not so difficult to find would be the GEX Glassterior Slim 600. Dimensions are 60 x 20 x 25cm. I've seen other tanks at C328 so it's worth a try. Show the picture to Aunty and maybe she might have it in stock.

I did come across GEX Glassterior Slim 600 and yes the dimension is closest but I think I saw a thread where bro Urban Aquaria mentioning the glass quality is not the best, still has slight green tint.

Another option : GUSH Crystal Garden 60L (60cm x 30cm x 24cm) and this one has good workmanship and glass quality.

unfortunately mr aqua tank series wasnt brought in by the distributer , i enquiry at y618 before , in the end i get a custom tank of the same dimension

Think best alternative would be GEX Glassterior Slim 600 but I have to look at the real think to see if I have concern with the clarity of glass used.

GUSH Crystal Garden 60L (60cm x 30cm x 24cm) has good glass but it's 10cm deeper compare to the GEX.

Maybe I will drop by seaview to see the 110cm tank Dodofish mentioned.

You can see if you can get it off the shelf. or you can custom make. Try N30 aquarium i think it not expensive also.

I got mine from green chapter, 3x1x1 tank because of the silicon and cabinet work.

Agreed on the quality and clarity of the GC tanks (Gush), super poisonous!

Is the Mr Aqua's tank low iron crystal glass? If not, it might be the same as the GEX one. You can check out ANS as well, do not know if they have shallow tanks though. Good place to call or check out would be East Ocean.

The Mr Aqua tank is also made from low-iron glass... though it seems from reviews that the silicone work is perhaps less "refined" compared to ADA cube garden or ANS opticube tanks.

So far, i've only seen GC stock a low-profile version but it is a 2ft tank, for 3ft and above i guess will just have to get it custom made.

You can try Acezzz. I looked for him to customize a tank with shoe cabinet. Reasonable pricing. Waiting for delivery of my tank today.
