Hi! Yes, you can feed them with boon. But the fry maybe too small to feed on the boon. Make sure you clean the boon properly before feeding. Alternatively, you can feed them with baby brine shrimp

yes boon will be fine, feeding my apisto fries the same thing.
congrats on the spawn
Not intend to bred them but to test the water in the planted tank is able to keep apisto. Going to get some nicer apisto like bitaeniata tefe n mamuri for the tank.

Xiaogui,
Will upload pic after i borrow my friend camera.
Planted tank is perfect match for apisto, just that certain apisto will dig a trench below your driftwood. Nowadays most apisto species can survive and spawn in ph 6 ~ 7 .
Hi mobile2007,
Thks ,any way trying to catch them out to another tanks. PH of my tank is around 6 filter thru peat. Got a pair of each of bitaeniata mamuri and tefe for the planted tank.
Mobile2007, you still have bitaeniata for sale? Pm me to discuss privately.
OK. just saw JZX coming in new stock of bitaeniata mamuri, will take a look at them.Thks
Hi, I am being poisoned into Apisto....... Planing to start soon.... As a newbie, can I ask whether can different strains of Apisto be mixed together? Also, can it be mixed with AAs in the same tank?
HI Khunlim, welcome to Apisto. Try not to mix them, espescially the female together. You will have a hard time seperate them out.
What is AA?
Depends of what kind of apistos you intend to keep. However, the apistos may get aggressive when they starts to breed.
