Make money or not, it's not nice to use other people's thread to sell stuff. Besides selling should be done in the marketplace, not here.

haha wait la, just turn on the chiller nia. im setting 25 degree C, it should be able to make the top tank chill at 26 degree C.

after running for 3 hours, the difference is 1 - 1.5 degree C. Chiller set at 25 degree C. top tank measurement is 26 - 26.5 degree C

kick in 15 mins, rest for 45 mins.

How big is your chiller? I need to upgrade mine, it's running for about 50mins and rest for 1.5-2hrs after using the SS pipe to cool another tank... Mine is 2 degrees variant.

I have observed the tank chilled by the SS pipes remains pretty constants between the time where the chiller kicks in till the next cycle, while the tank that's connected to the chiller directly fluctuate between 1-2 degree. Example, tank chilled by SS pipe remains at 23 degree constant while the tank connected directly fluctuate between 22 - 24 degree (2 degree is the range for my chiller to kick in), is it the same for you?

mine is a HS28a. yes, the top tank temperature is pretty constant at 26 - 26.5 degree C with temperature set at 25 degree C. for this kind of setup, its better to place at the shadiest part of the house as to keep the ambiance temperature low.

yes, i added a thin layer of ADA aquasoil so that the shrimps will have better grip.

    Re: Shrimp Project return 2015

From my understanding, the difference of 2 degree is due to lack of surface area of your Stainless steel pipe...
In theory, more surface more cooling.. heat dissapated from your top tank, as a result, the heat exchange from the coil is not sufficient. So the coil absorb the chill water energy to your secondary tank and caused the fluctuations.
Do let me know if I am right. Thanks

totally agree, more of the SS pipe in the tank will help cool the temperature more.
